My most precious duty here on earth is to walk gently with eyes open, perceiving the wild beauties and the rhythm of all things; the terror of mortality and the necessity of loss; the inconceivable gift of new life; the essence of friendship and the sanctity of the body carrying us through time, and to synthesize it all into something resembling a song, with self-reflection, candor humility, and humor.
