An exciting double bill at La Sala Rosa celebrating contemporary voices in global jazz.&nbsp;Toronto-based Indo-Canadian percussionist and composer Agneya brings his debut project to Montreal for a special pre-release performance, presenting AGNEYA live for the first time in the city. Blending South Asian rhythms, West African grooves, contemporary jazz, and global folk traditions, the music reflects a journey across cultures and continents.&nbsp;Montreal-based trumpeter, composer, and bandleader Rachel Therrien joins with a special set drawn from her internationally acclaimed body of work. A dynamic artist with deep roots in both Montreal and the international jazz community, Therrien is known for bringing jazz into conversation with Latin American, Caribbean, and global musical traditions.This project has been made possible in part by FACTOR, the Government of Canada, and Canada's private radio broadcasters.
