Two of my favorite things. Who doesn’t love a good outfit? Better yet, who doesn’t love a good story?And it just so happens there’s a great story I’ve been waiting about 5 years to tell. It’s about my experience working as a para-educator in Lancaster, PA and meeting a child who fought relentlessly to prove he was and is way more than any diagnosis or label placed on him. Thanks to the Feminist Idea Lab, Millersville University, local businesses and all my friends, family and colleagues; I’m finally able to put together a dream Fashion Show that follows the story of a child who changed my life in many ways. In some of the most pivotal years of my life he added hope and imagination. Something that is so desperately needed to make a change in this world. In honor of my little friend this show will be FREE.
