Durham, NC based band applefield (stylized as one word, all lowercase) is a noise pop trio infusing unwieldy rhythmic passages with blissed-out fuzz laden melodies. Babe Lewis is both a solo recording project of Harrisonburg, Virginia-based songwriter Joseph Harder &amp; a full live band, featuring Dane Ludwig (drums), and Valentin Prince (bass, vocals). Mercurial and expeditious, Harder's writing soars and pulses, painted with an ethereal sonic palate incorporating elements of psychedelia, shoegaze, and psych rock.
