The exhibition explores the intersection of place, history, and artistic practice, highlighting how a site once defined by industry continues to inspire creative production in the present.Featuring painting, sculpture, fiber art, and mixed media, the works demonstrate the individuality of each artist’s vision as well as a shared dialogue that emerges from a collective practice. The mill’s physical and historical presence—its architecture, textures, and legacy of labor—resonates throughout the exhibition, informing material choices, conceptual approaches, and the spirit of collaboration.By situating these contemporary works within the context of a former industrial site, Mill Works emphasizes the continuity of making: from textiles to ideas, from machinery to artists.
