Before going solo, he gained recognition as one-half of Clicks &amp; Whistles, a pioneering duo whose influential releases on labels like Owsla, Frite Nite, and Boysnoize Records helped shape the early wave of forward-thinking bass music. As a resident DJ at Night Bass events at the iconic Sound Nightclub, and with more than ten releases on the Night Bass label, Petey has cemented his role as a defining force in the label’s vision and the city’s underground scene. Petey’s solo career took off with releases on AC Slater’s Party Like Us Records, helping drive the emerging bass house movement and earning support from industry heavyweights like Skrillex, Wax Motif, Moodygood, and MJ Cole. Beyond his creative output, Petey served as Program Director at ICON Collective for eight years, mentoring thousands of aspiring producers and championing a curriculum rooted in creativity, technical excellence, and sustainable artistry.</p>
