As founder and lead designer of Snyderphonics, Jeff designs and builds unusual electronic musical instruments. His creations include the Manta, which is played by over 150 musicians around the world; the JD-1 Keyboard/Sequencer, which was commissioned as a specialty controller for Buchla synthesizers; and the custom analog modular synthesizer on which he regularly performs. Jeff is a member of &nbsp;exclusiveOr, The Federico Ughi Quartet, The Miz’ries, Sideband and fronts Owen Lake and the Tragic Loves as his electro-country alter-ego and composes alternate-reality Early Music for an ensemble of his invented instruments.Gian Torrano Jacobs (he/they, @<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://beltsandwhistles.bandcamp.com/">gian.tj</a>) is a composer, harpist, and performer from New Egypt, New Jersey, USA. Gian draws inspiration from mortality and how we mirror natural processes present in micro &amp; macrocosmic systems. His expertise lies in classical and contemporary harp performance, which he synthesizes with electronic music, sculpture, and visual media. Their interests lie in contemporary and early music, natural and synthetic sounds, spoken word, electronics, acoustics, visual media, and instrument/sound design.Very Very Hot Evil is the art pop project of classically trained pianist, music theorist, and composer Paul Royse. Beginning in 2017 in Knoxville TN, Very Very Hot Evil’s music possesses a progressive approach to songwriting that arouses, disturbs, and charms. Electro-kraut digital hardcore supergroup, The Miz'ries: noise sheriff Quinn Collins plays broken records on a turntable with crazy effects, mad genius inventor Jeff Snyder plays his own analog synth creation whilst Neuseelander songstress Leila Adu sings and plays electronic drum pads. The Miz’ries have been described as "a noise band that plays 3-minute pop songs", and as "the music that plays in the club the bad guys hang out in". llama/lama is the mind-melting, genre-bending, tongue-in-cheek collaboration of composers Quinn Collins and Paul Schuette. Drawing sonic material from turntables, modular synthesizers, real (and false) radios, handmade mbiras, shopping malls, digital ephemera, and custom-built audio hardware, llama/lama plays prime numbers with prime numbers. They make high brow, low-fi noise music for all occasions, sharing bills with jug bands, puppet shows, math rock quartets, and new music ensembles in varied settings including public parks, basements, bars, art galleries, and contemporary music festivals.
