Brooke Riso is an American born, NYC and NJ raised fresh new talent in the music industry. She is as lovely and effervescent in her character as she is talented as a songwriter. Brooke, although only 22, is an old soul who prefers the classic folk-rock style of such lyrical soulful artists as Carol King, Jim Croce, and James Taylor with an edgy twist of Melissa Etheridge, Sheryl Crow and Alanis Morrisette. Throughout high school, Brooke often performed both with her band and as a solo artist to large adoring crowds at such music venues and stages as the 1904 Music Hall and the Daytona Main Street Music Festival in Central Florida. While earning her BS in Psychology, she honed her guitar playing, singing, song-writing and production skills and has been steadily gaining an ever-growing following on both social media and in-person live performances. Most recently, Brooke shared the spotlight with another act at the famous Asbury Park, NJ music venue, The Saint, and was asked to return the following month as the headliner.
