Inspired by the macabre humor of Edward Gorey and Tim Burton, the murder ballads of the Americana tradition, and the dramatic flair of the cabaret, they write playfully dark songs about death, crime, myth, magic, science, and the occult. With flasks held high, they play songs of heartbreak, hope, and doom, and have been getting people up on their feet to yell, drink, and sing along to their original songs since 2008.</p><p></p><h2><strong>KINGDOM OF NOT</strong></h2><p>—<br>Absurdist writer/performer Dan Carbone and surrealistic one-man band, Andrew Goldfarb and special guest performer Baby-Ding-Dong, sing from their hearts and play from their guts about demon children, demon blackbirds, demon dogs, demon Eskimos and most of other popular demon themes beloved by all the people.
