The Raleigh-based rock 'n' roll outfit was formed by songwriter and guitarist Mike Mullarkey and is backed by guitarist Riley Methner, bassist Stephen Catalano, and drummer Aaron Kluz—a cast of misfits found along the highways between Texas and North Carolina.Buzzard Company summons the giants of rock ‘n’ roll past, armed with ragged guitar licks, a blues swagger, and catchy hooks. The quartet embodies the new breed of heartland rock, drawing inspiration from alt-country, garage rock, psych rock, and grunge. Mullarkey’s razor-sharp songwriting and earnest approach to his craft, when combined, amplify the blue-collar, road-worn spirit of their music.
