Spades relates to swords in the Tarot deck and are symbolic of determination, hard work, and discipline, which is required for progression and integration of technique. Integrational work in Spades comprises of an expected understanding of Diamonds' first key language and movement concepts, on which we will be building further to develop clean technique and deeper muscular isolations. We focus on Cymbals as musical instruments, choreography creation, and begin to train with dynamics.This is the second level of the format. After approving your test certification for Diamonds, Spades it’s your next step.Key of Spades is Level 2 of DanceCraft. In this level, we will go deeper into the work of the format and begin to play with dynamics and choreographic devices and layer... everything. This is a physically rigorous dance training.This is a fully hybrid event, with online and in-person options available.SCHEDULE (Subject to changes)Monday, April 13th - Friday, April 17th. 10 am- 6 pm PST with a hour lunch break.TEST SCHEDULE AND REQUIREMENTS:Testing will occur on the last day, Friday, April 17th, from&nbsp;approximately&nbsp;6 - 8 pm PST. International students can test Saturday, April 18th from approximately 11am-1pm PST.FULL CLASS ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED TO TEST. CERTIFICATION AND TESTING<ul><li>Testing will be the last day Friday, April 17th at around 6:00-8:00 pm PST. International students can test Saturday, April 18th 11am-1pm PST.</li><li>Certification will be awarded to those who have 100% participation in all classes and activities and pass the final exam at the end of the intensive. There is a $50 testing fee due at the beginning of the intensive. Testing is optional but required to move on to Level 3.</li><li>While recordings are available during the workshop week, they are not meant to replace live attendance. The recordings are for international online students who cannot attend live due to the prohibitive timing of the classes (for example--the middle of the night).
