With a background in classical guitar performance and a deep abiding love for guitar pedals, his sound is one of dense melodic layers, ambient washes, and lush sonic landscapes.Hive Mind is the debut recording of a trio featuring Dave Devine on 6, 12, &amp; baritone guitars &amp; electronics, Greg Garrison on acoustic bass, and Scott Amendola on drums, cymbals &amp; electronics. Tracked in an afternoon at Mighty Fine Productions in Denver (engineered by Colin Bricker), these six original compositions by Devine and two group improvisations were recorded live with no overdubs, editing or post-production.
