It was founded in 1994 by Dimitris Paraschos, a self-taught Clarinetist and researcher of traditional folk music of Greece and the Balkans. His orchestra has a rich discography with over 40 albums which have been released in Greece and now globally! He has performed hundreds of appearances at social events, music festivals and has been televised in Greece. and abroad, winning the admiration of the public and critics. Their musical repertoire includes traditional songs and dances from Central Macedonia, Western Macedonia, Epirus, and Thessaly. The orchestra is known for the authenticity of its music, which is based on detailed research and studies of the traditional music of these specific regions. Dimitri Paraschos and his Orchestra have also preserved the traditional music and dances of the Vlach community, which has decreased as time goes by.
