Drastic Andrew is a 5 piece progressive rock outfit with 6 studio albums of original music. “Stained Glass,” The band’s latest effort was released June 2025. 2022’s Album, “The Great&nbsp; Unconformity” was nominated in 3 award categories in the New Mexico Music Awards. Previous&nbsp; albums have been awarded Best Rock Album, among 7 other wins. Drastic Andrew’s “Drastically Live” live album was released worldwide digitally on March 24th, 2024. It was recorded from the soundboard at Tumbleroot Brewery/Distillery in Santa Fe, NM on July 1st, 2023. Spotify’s Drastic Andrew Radio option displays a range of similar sounding artists and&nbsp; influences, such as Wilco, Black Keys, Cracker, Rolling Stones, Ray Wylie Hubbard, old 97’s, Jack White, Steve Earle, Richard Thompson, Josh Ritter and Ryan Adams. Drastic Andrew has&nbsp; developed a unique sound all their own with a distinct progressive, indie pop streak, over 10 years of composing and performing in most of Northern New Mexico’s liveliest bars, brewpubs&nbsp; and larger stages such as Albuquerque festivals and several shows on the plaza stage in Lensic 360’s Santa Fe’s summer concert series. Led by Andrew MacLauchlan, the quintet nail their colors to the mast with a collection of songs&nbsp; that delve into various themes, from social injustice and the environment, to love and&nbsp; relationships and personal/ universal struggle. It’s a range of subjects that songwriters are prone to explore, so it’s to MacLauchlan’s credit that he brings something new and original to the table. Contrasting musical styles, full production and ambitious arrangements are the hallmark of each album.&nbsp;The musicians: Andrew MacLauchlan has been writing and composing original music &amp; poetry from the age of 11. Starting out on the Banjo, he gravitated to the guitar as a teenager. He formed the Drastic Andrew Band in 2011 as an evolving platform for exploring a variety of colliding musical genres and lyrical story-telling, creating albums as well as performing the resulting music. The collaboration with fellow musicians is a vital ongoing inspiration for him. Matthiew McClinton is an award winning producer, arranger &amp; bass master and has produced the bands latest 3 records. He is very active in the music community in multiple roles as leading force in many projects. Justin Lindsey is a virtuoso lead guitarist and creative sound wizard. Widely regarded as studio&nbsp; genius, improviser and expert sound engineer. He fronts his own originals band, St.Range, who play throughout New Mexico. Kevin Zoernig is a gifted keys player with award winning producer credits, and performs in a variety of musical projects. His studio &amp; live performance work is very unique. When Kevin shows up to a session or show he might bring a vintage Casio keyboard, a Harpsichord, Melatron or an antique accordion.Ron Crowder is a multi-instrumentalist who leads his own outfit: The Ron Crowder Band, happens to be a sensational, intuitive percussionist and has performed in both studio sessions and live shows with Drastic Andrew for the past 3 albums.Jesse Deluxe is a singer, songwriter, producer &amp; multi-instrumentalist originally from Los Angeles. She also works on film &amp; TV projects including the Emmy winning show “Alax.” Jesse has an authoritative&nbsp;approach&nbsp;to various genres&nbsp;in her arsenal, which range from rock, pop, opera and hints of death metal. She has worked with producer David Jerden, (Jane's Addiction, Rolling Stones, Alice in Chains, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dead Kennedys). She counts among her influences: Hendrix, Bowie, The Weekend, REZZ, Lana Del Rey, &amp; Phantogram. Join us for dinner and cocktails starting at 5:30 pm.
