'For the Love of House' features a lineup of talented DJs, all hailing from Bellingham - Given Peace, Ellie Wild, Skahzka, DJ Feral Cat, and The Velveteen DJ. This event is a fantastic opportunity to support and grow the local house music scene. Given Peace is a house music producer who has been creating music since 2011 and has featured in a number of collaborations including in the local music community. This is a special opportunity to see Given Peace perform a fully original set for the first time, showcasing and highlighting his years of hard work as a producer. Ellie Wild, is a talented artist with a deep-rooted love for dance music. She's a trained pianist, vocalist, and graduate from Western Washington University with a range of knowledge in various music genres and styles. Her sets reflect her passion and knowledge, making her a standout performer. Skahzka, whose name translates to "story" in Ukrainian, is a DJ and producer who draws inspiration from his Ukrainian heritage and the beautiful natural spaces his parents often referenced.&nbsp;As a recent Electrical Engineering graduate from Western Washington University, Skahzka is a versatile artist who defies genre boundaries and loves experimental music. Skahzka is sure to captivate audiences with his musical storytelling and unique sound. DJ Feral Cat is making his debut performance at The Wild Buffalo, but he's no stranger to the underground music scene in Bellingham and Seattle. He has been involved in the scene for years, including his weekly twitch streams, dubbed 'White Claw Wednesdays', during the pandemic. The Velveteen DJ has been a staple of the Bellingham nightlife scene for years, playing house music at popular venues such as Rumors.With performances starting at 8pm and ending around midnight, the $5 cover charge is a small price to pay for a night of unforgettable local talent. In addition to the music, there will be art displays and dance performances by local dancers.
