KUVO Jazz is kicking off the new year with another intimate edition of ¡KUVOLE!, our monthly live-performance series celebrating the vibrant artistry of our city’s Latinx musicians. This January, we’re thrilled to bring lil piñon &amp; the bosque to the legendary stage at Dazzle.The musical alter-ego of Denver-born singer-songwriter and lyricist Joshua Randy Abeyta, lil piñon crafts songs rooted in poetry, conscious hip-hop, and a tangle of influences, rock ’n’ roll, soul, ’90s alt, punk, folk, and the deep-feeling empathy that runs through his work. His music lives on the full spectrum: from mental health and political unrest to cats, sheds, friends, and the everyday moments that make us human.
