<h2>PB &amp; V Trio</h2><p></p><h2>Vocals - Kat Ellis</h2><p><strong>Kat Ellis</strong>’ musical life is inspired by her love of connecting with others. She is a Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts trained musician, and more recently has been taking classes in the Thompson School of Jazz Studies at C.U. Boulder. Kat’s singing is authentic and accessible. Her gift of expression and storytelling using her emotive voice lets her cover tunes ranging from reflective to torchy, witty to sorrowful. She is the featured vocalist with the Denver Jazz Orchestra and leads a jazz quintet. She is a sought after free lance musician currently playing with several projects.</p><p></p><h2>Piano - Elliot Litz</h2><p><strong>Elliot Litz</strong> has been playing jazz piano for over 30 years. He plays regularly with the Colorado Jazz Workshop and with the Blue Sky Jazz Quintet. He has played at a variety of local establishments with a number of musicians from both the Denver and Boulder area. He enjoys playing a variety of styles from Bill Evans to Oscar Peterson and aims to bring a rich harmonic approach to jazz standards. </p><p></p><h2>Bass - Derek Woodbury</h2><p><strong>Derek Woodbury</strong> is a Denver-based double bassist who performs with a variety of jazz musicians in and around the Mile High City. He began his musical journey with the trumpet in grade school, and as an adult has become enamored with delivering solid and swinging bass lines. </p>
