Madman Across The Water is a tribute to Elton John, orchestrated by Seattle-based artist and producer, Andrew Vait (SISTERS, Little Wins).The project will build on the energy and momentum of Vait's Fleetwood Mac tribute, The Little Lies, and, faithful to the mythos of Elton John, the show seeks to deliver an authentic and powerful live experience.Vait carefully chose the words to describe the project, emphasizing that the focus will be on interpreting and upholding the unrivaled craftsmanship in songwriting and stage performance that is woven into Elton John’s legacy.The project will honor the music of Elton John and is dedicated to the memory of Vait’s mother, who died in September of 2022 after a battle with cancer. Vait recalls listening to Elton John with his mom: “We would listen together and she would sing along while I learned the words.” The music instilled in Vait a deep sense of empathy and softness that has profoundly influenced his career as a performer and recording artist.
