<p>Join us for a screening of two short films by local filmmakers. "For The Birds" by Mercurii Films and Three Jars Studios and "Border Lines" by Night Cat Productions are two films that may inhabit very different worlds, a quiet suburb and a seedy strip club, but  both center on women confronting the gap between the lives they've built and the lives they imagine for themselves. From quiet longing to reinvention, each story explores the complicated pull toward change, autonomy and self-definition. The women are met with the question: What would it mean to fully choose themselves? Following the screenings, stay for a live Q&amp;A with the filmmakers to discuss the creative process , collaboration, and developing work within their local film community. </p>
