In Saints of Little Faith, Megan Pinto moves through collisions of abuse, psychosis, and rage in personal and generational histories, alongside their reprieve: beauty, tenderness, and the landscapes these forces inhabit; she asks, how can we develop a sense of God, a sense of belonging? Victoria Chang, author of OBIT, describes the collection as, “beautifully rendered ruminative and thoughtful coming-of-age poems populated with people, such as the speaker’s ill father and past lovers, miniature narratives, and small fragments that pass by and become a line, as if the reader is on a train at twilight. These are poems of longing and growing at once.” Marked For Death is a quartet featuring members of Super Yamba Band that performs adventurous original compositions that draw inspiration from an array of artists such as Yusef Lateef and Moondog to Slayer and the music of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks. The group is led by saxophonist Walter Fancourt and supported by drummer Joseph Yount, bassist Seth Barden, and Guitarist Eric Burns. Grace MacNair is a poet living in Brooklyn, NY. A 2023 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellow in Poetry, Grace's poems have appeared or are forthcoming in The Threepenny Review, Poetry Northwest, The Missouri Review, Frontier Poetry, Best New Poets, and elsewhere. Grace's micro-chapbook, Even As They Curse Us, is available from Bull City Press. Joseph Earl Thomas is the author of the memoir Sink, and the novel, God Bless You, Otis Spunkmeyer. Emily Lee Luan is the author of 回 / Return, a winner of the Nightboat Poetry Prize, and I Watch the Boughs, selected for a PSA Chapbook Fellowship. The recipient of a Pushcart Prize, her work has appeared in The Best American Poetry 2021, American Poetry Review, Lithub, and elsewhere. She holds an MFA from Rutgers University–Newark and is a Visiting Assistant Professor at Adelphi University. Leigh Lucas is a writer in San Francisco. Her chapbook Landsickness (Tupelo Press, 2024) was selected by Chen Chen for the 2023 Sunken Garden Poetry Chapbook Award. She has been awarded residencies at Tin House, Community of Writers, and Kenyon. Leigh’s poems can be found in Academy of American Poets’ Poem-a-Day, Alta Journal, Smartish Pace, and elsewhere. She holds a BA from Stanford and an MFA from Warren Wilson. Megan Pinto is the author of Saints of Little Faith (Four Way Books, 2024). Zain Alam is an artist and composer of Indian Pakistani origin based in New York City. Described as “a unique intersection, merging the cinematic formality of Bollywood and geometric repetition of Islamic art,” his work has recently been shown at venues including Center for Arts, Research, and Alliances (CARA), the Rubin Foundation, and Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts. He is a 2024 artist-in-residence with Nawat Fes (Morocco) and Recess (Brooklyn) at work on the installation series “Meter &amp; Light.”
