Like a fresh kiwi, their music is vibrant, sweet, and satisfying. They blend groove-centric jams with sensual vocals, funky bass lines, tasteful drumming and an exploration of atmospheric guitar/synth tones to create a variety of sound from song to song. They have a wide-variety of influences. (Pond, The Beatles, Explosions in the Sky, Pink Floyd, Roxy Music, Radiohead, Tame Impala, The Strokes, Talking Heads, David Bowie, Tears For Fears) to name a "few". They came together and jammed for the first time in late 2018 and a few months later Smooth Kiwi was born.&nbsp;<h2>About Vernoica North</h2>Veronica North is a Bellingham local singer/songwriter who takes listeners on a personal journey through story with her folk/pop music. Growing up in Point Roberts, Veronica is heavily inspired by Whatcom County's nature; and her music holds similarities to female artists like Maggie Rogers, Lizzie McAlpine, HAIM and Taylor Swift.<h2>About Morgan McHugh</h2>Morgan McHugh is a Modern-Americana singer/songwriter, from Bellingham WA. Many of his songs touch upon topics including love and loss, his upbringing, and the human condition.
