The combo is one of the most active performing ensembles at South High School and has performed throughout Denver and the surrounding area. In addition to their regular performances, they have participated in Jazz Festivals in Greeley, Denver, and Chicago. This year they are joined by special guest and Denver South alumnus, jazz piano master Steve Denny.In shows where most music is selected by students, the Denver South Raven Jazz Combo plays a wide variety of styles of jazz while bringing forth true artistry through their music and solos. The ensemble is open to any and all instruments.
