Join us at The Listening Room at Hamilton Studio for another evening with the Spokane Guitar Collective — a collaborative concert featuring four acclaimed classical guitarists from across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.This special performance will be presented in a round robin style format, where each artist will perform solo works before coming together throughout the evening for ensemble collaborations. Audiences can expect a dynamic program of classical repertoire, contemporary works, and uniquely arranged ensemble pieces — all experienced in the intimate, acoustically rich setting of The Listening Room.Whether you're a longtime fan of classical guitar or simply curious to experience something new, this concert offers a rare opportunity to hear multiple world-class performers both individually and together in one shared performance.<h3 style="text-align: start">Featuring:</h3>Michael Millham A featured performer at regional festivals including the Northwest Guitar Festival, Northwest Bach Festival, and Festival at Sandpoint, Michael Millham is an in-demand soloist, ensemble performer, and educator. He maintains teaching studios at Gonzaga and Eastern Washington Universities and hosts Spokane Public Radio Classical’s weekly program The Guitar Hour. His duo with vocalist Keleren Millham has given over 2,000 performances nationwide.Ryan Nitz Boise-based guitarist Ryan Nitz has performed throughout North America and appeared with the Boise Philharmonic, Palouse Chamber Orchestra, Opera Idaho, and numerous contemporary music ensembles. He currently serves on the faculty of Boise State University’s Department of Music.James Reid A concert guitarist since the 1970s, James Reid has performed extensively across the United States and Canada and is the founder of the Northwest Guitar Festival. He directed the guitar program at the University of Idaho for over four decades and currently serves as president of the Idaho Guitar Society.Michael Partington Praised by Classical Guitar Magazine for his “lyricism, intensity and clear technical command,” award-winning British guitarist Michael Partington has performed internationally as both a soloist and ensemble artist.
