Next Saturday, we’re teaming up Vicarious Love and Philly For Sudan for a benefit show at The Pottery Gym to help fundraise for the victims of the humanitarian catastrophe taking place in Sudan.&nbsp;Since 2023, the two major political/military groups of the country have been in a brutal war for power. This led to a collapse in Sudan’s economic, agricultural, and health resources. In addition to the destruction of social services, both warring parties systematically enact unspeakable atrocities on innocent civilians, especially the non-Muslim Black communities that have taken refuge in the Nuba Mountains region of the country.&nbsp;With all the international aid cuts made this year, the Sudanese people have been left to fend for themselves in a truly horrific situation. SO LETS HELP THEM!!!!We’ve gotten some of Philly’s favorite emcees, comedians, and vendors to come together for a benefit show to raise funds for the Sudanese people!&nbsp;There’s gonna be comedy sets from lexaprotagnist, Ebony Moore and Nazeer Artaud hosted by Charles Steele&nbsp;Music from Miles Chancellor, gen of the cosmos, Yelli Sneaks, and Wiles MartyrVending from The babe corporation, Yaboizeeeys (pizza!) and Gully Boy Chai&nbsp;And beverages provided by Two Locals &nbsp;Tix are $10 (NOTAFLOF) and proceeds will be donated to an organization doing work in the Nuba Mountains selected by Philly For Sudan.
