Founded in 2010 by Prashant, an immigrant turned DJ, & like-minded friends, Jai Ho! is a celebration of Indian music & dance like no other. At its core are the values of inclusivity and sharing positive vibes by bringing the best of Indian culture to the dance floor. The innovative themes that set Jai Ho! apart are transforming American nightlife bringing to it festive elements like Holi Colors & Dandiya Sticks. Creating a safe & celebratory space is our number one priority at every event we host.

Over the course of the night, Punjabi, Bollywood, South Indian songs, and music from across South Asia (new & old) will make their way into our DJs playlist. So contribute positively, uplift everyone around you, tip your bartenders well, and enjoy the music being played.

Prashant moved to the US from India in 2003 for graduate school at Cornell University and started DJing, teaching dance + hosting events after quitting a full-time job at Intel back in 2009.

Since then, he has traveled regularly across the west coast, Denver, and New Orleans putting on MAD AWESOME dance parties creating and fostering communities centered around celebrating world music & dance with a focus on South Asian culture.

We started Bollywood nights in Seattle back in 2010. From 2011-2013 we held a monthly party at the iconic Chop Suey nightclub in Capitol Hill. Since 2014, we have been hosting a popping regular party at Nectar Lounge in the Fremont neighborhood.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Yes, you need to be 21 years or older & have a state-approved ID on you. A passport is acceptable.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to the event?

Plenty of FREE parking around the boarding dock.

Are tickets refundable?

All sales are final, tickets are non-refundable.
