Grab your wolf ears and let the wild rumpus begin as we journey to where the wild things are. Our master storyteller will choose various willing audience members to come up on stage and play specific roles; and no one gets left out as we ALL transform ourselves into Wild Things with the help of our extraordinary pianist. Family members of all ages will delight in this fun-filled interactive experience. Along with providing entertainment, our focus is to use art, drama, andmusic to explore issues, principles, and social responsibilities.PAMELA CLIFTON – THE PLAYMAKERS, EXECUTIVEDIRECTOR&nbsp;Pam has been writing, directing, and producing professionally for over forty years. She has been in on the ground floor helping to develop educational programs for both children and adults at The Arvada Center, Boulder’s Dinner Theater, South Suburban Parks and Recreation, Town Hall Arts Center, and the University of Denver. In 1978 she was a member of the original children’s company at the Arvada Center, providing children’s theatre for school field trips. While the Center hosted many, many schools and entertained hundreds and hundreds of children, she became concerned that many schools couldn’t afford the tickets and/or buses for their students to take part in the programs. Thus, “The Playmakers, Bringing the Performing Arts to You!” was born. Creating interactive workshops and professional touring shows that could be performed by one or two actors or musicians, with costumes and props that could fit in a tub, The Playmakers have entertained, educated, and delighted thousands of children, affordably, since 1984.
