Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a lively and entertaining evening dedicated to the birds and the bees! Test your knowledge of the animal kingdom’s fascinating—and sometimes surprising—courtship behaviors, mating rituals, and “love lives” while competing in a themed trivia night for prizes.Light appetizers will be available to enjoy throughout the evening, and beer and wine will be available to purchase.Dinner is not included, so we encourage attendees to make a reservation at Galliford’s&nbsp;Restuarant &amp; Tavern ahead of time to complete the night with a full meal.Perfect for couples, friends, and anyone looking for a unique and educational Valentine’s Day experience—this adults-only event blends science, humor, and conservation for a night to remember. Valentine’s Day: Birds & Bees Trivia Night

Presented by Jane Greco Deming; Animal Rescue Rhode Island Humane Education Consultant and Program ManagerFor children ages 4–8; children must be accompanied by an adult.This interactive 90-minute program is designed especially for young children—and often helps adults gain a better understanding of the situations that can lead to dog-related injuries. Rather than focusing on fear or blame, the program encourages empathy by helping children think about how dogs may feel in everyday situations, such as when a toy or treat is taken from them or when they are awakened while sleeping.Through age-appropriate discussion and activities, children learn how to safely interact with dogs they know as well as dogs they don’t know. The program includes a 12-minute DVD featuring kids talking to kids about pet safety, making the lessons engaging and relatable.

Heart in Hand will have a variety of pre-drawn tattoo designs for attendees to pick from with pricing ranging from $50-$100 each. Join us for a fun craft session where your child will transform natural items into beautiful, personalized ornaments using air-drying clay. This event is perfectly suited for our youngest nature enthusiasts.&nbsp;🎨 What We'll Be DoingKids will use air-drying clay to create their ornaments using cookie cutters for fun shapes, and they will press real natural treasures—like leaves, pine needles, and pinecones—to make unique textured imprints before adding a final splash of color with paint. The finished ornaments make wonderful keepsakes or gifts and will be ready to take home the same day!
