'the feels' mixes time to meet and connect casually, with a 90 min facilitated portion.
 
the format of the facilitated segment rests on some assumptions: when we feel grounded + good in our bodies, an openness is available -
and that space is ideal for connecting to others. 
 
from mindfulness, we layer in
your body's somatic intelligence,
non violent communication tactics, 
and what we know from positive psychology
+ group relations theory,
about how to most effectively engage w others. 
 
throughout the evening, you'll be paired 5 times. we close as we opened: with a here + now check in/out. 
 
then we return to free time.

...that's all cool, but does it 'work' - ?
 
In a word - YES. In Q1 2023, we conducted a survey of past participants in partnership with Columbia University's Spirit Mind Body Institute. the goal was to understand to what extent the 'VOID' format created (more) meaningful connection than a typical singles event. 

Results showed that 'the feels' is 2x more effective than a typical dating event; over 60% of respondents left with a connection that carried forward, and of those, over 50% were still in touch at the time of survey. 

So come cuz it feels good, stay for the opportunity to learn new tools for relating, and leave with an exciting new connection.
