It all began in 2023 when Cameron decided to pay tribute to the Wipers by naming his new band after their debut album, Is This Real?.Their live debut came on August 9, 2023, at The Royal Room in Seattle, with a lineup that included young guitarist Caspian Coberly, Shane Smith of Ten Miles Wide, and Will Andrews. The setlist was entirely dedicated to the Wipers, with songs like Return of the Rat and Window Shop For Love played with energy and respect for the legacy of Greg Sage’s band.

For Diles que no me maten, every note is a small step into the unknown. The five-piece Mexico City band have always operated on a first-thought, best-thought basis, drawing on a jam-based, krautrock philosophy to craft intricate constructions of wiry art rock spiked with bluesy balladry and poetic mysticism. While their fourth album Escrito en Agua (Writ in Water) is their most consciously crafted and accessible to date, their founding principle of slow, wide-eyed exploration is alive and well.Founded by brothers Raúl (drums) and Gerardo (guitar) Ponce in 2017 in a CDMX scene set to bubble over, Diles bonded over a shared improvisational language that grew more complex and fluid with each revelatory rehearsal and electric live performance. The fiery mix of raw elements that fueled their 2020 debut EP Cayó de su Gloria el Diablo and LP Edificio coalesced into solid-built but shapeshifting entities on their breakout album La Vida de Alguien Más and its free-flowing follow-up Obrigaggi. Together with the Ponces, Andrés Lupone (bass), Jerónimo Elizondo-García (guitar, clarinet), and Jonás Derbez (vocals, saxophone) have crafted a sound that’s as unpredictable as it is distinct.In a makeshift studio space in their hometown’s Santa María La Ribera neighborhood, Diles created Escrito en Agua through a process of intense experimentation and refinement, guided gently by their longtime collaborator turned producer Sebastián Rojas. This setting gave these recordings a scrappy mutability; unencumbered by the hi-fi confines of an official studio, they were free to tinker with their unruly creations, breaking them down and reassembling their best parts in a way they’d never done before. It’s evident from the opening notes of Escrito en Agua that Diles have entered a new chapter. Instrumental intro “Las Noches Que Dormimos en Sillas” (“The Nights We Sleep on Chairs”) was first conceived as a “Goth Duke Ellington arrangement” by Andrés before some technical malfunctions and a guest performance from legendary saxophonist Alain Derbez (Jonás’s father) led the band to realize the song would sound better an octave higher. Thus, its lugubrious tones became less moody and more spiritual. They leaned in, injecting elements of funerary music from Oaxaca’s Sierra Mixe that elevate the song far beyond its playful original premise. The track sets the tone for an album that, while possessing no airs of religiosity, is as transcendent as gospel.This aura is put into words on lead single “Hiriku,” which finds Jonás interpreting José Vincente Anaya’s epic poetic vision quest Híkuri (Peyote) over frenetic krautrock instrumentation. “La mitad que soy no existe, y la mitad que existe no soy,” he repeats with mantra-esque calm in the song’s second half (“The half I am doesn’t exist, and I am not the half that exists”). This egocidal phrase, ripped directly from the poem, is a gauntlet of sorts; leave your previous self behind as you enter this record. “Cierro los ojos para ver un lugar donde no estoy,” he sings elsewhere (“I close my eyes to see a place where I am not”).Sonically, the high-octane “Hiriku” is an exception on a record full of unhurried reflection. Escrito en Agua’s languid tone is due in large part to Raúl’s decision to pare down his drumming to its most minimal form. “I wanted to make all the drums on the album really tame,” he says. “I really like that feeling of having less things so you can concentrate on all the other things that are happening at the same time.” Gerardo took a similar tack in his approach to guitar on the album. “Silence is a big element of the record,” he says, “the spaces that you take in silence and the silence you make after you play.”If “Hiriku” is Escrito en Agua’s thematic looking glass, “Perquisidor” is its encryption key. Translating roughly to “Investigator,” the song’s title character is more of an observant wanderer than a traditional detective. “It’s wandering not in the sense of being lost, just in the sense of seeking something,” Jonás clarifies. “But you're not specifically seeking something that is a goal. You're only seeking details. I think of it as wandering with a clear vision of something that you cannot discover. You're on the trail of something that you know you're not gonna figure out, but you're still paying attention to these clues.” When composing the song’s arrangement, Andrés put himself in that role. “I wasn't sure what I was going for,” he says. “Sometimes the chords are happy and sometimes the chords are sad, but I wouldn't call it either a happy song or a sad song. It's like an epic of nothing.”This ambiguity, which carries throughout Escrito en Agua, is perhaps best exemplified on “Viene el Viento,” a song about aging and death that’s heartbreakingly tender but never overtly depressive. It was the first song Diles recorded for the album, and they approached it like a puzzle, aiming to present distinct moods musically and lyrically. There’s no misdirection here, though; in fact, it’s one of the project’s most jarringly vulnerable cuts. Channeling the great Argentinian songwriter Luis Alberto Spinetta (Pescado Rabioso), Jonás strove for equal parts emotional depth and childish simplicity. “It's really naked,” he says.The album’s emotional tipping point, though, comes on its penultimate track, “No me.” Growing out of an instantly classic guitar riff from Jerónimo and the only lyrics on the project that Jonás had written before the sessions began, it’s rooted in an assertion of strength and self-dependence: “No me está rompiendo. Creo que no me va a romper.” (“It’s not breaking me. I believe that it won’t break me.”) As Jonás says it over and over, his confidence seems to waver, then fail, then rise again. “It was about repeating ‘This is not going to break me’ in a way that it sounds like it has completely broken me down,” he explains. “No me” isn’t a hard song to play technically, but it was the trickiest for Diles que no me maten to nail down. Re-recorded several times across three locations, it’s now perhaps the track they’re proudest of in their discography. “It's a song where we listen to each other a lot while playing, and when we're on tour and we're playing every day and we have different feelings or a common feeling, we play that song, and it's like, ‘OK, we understand,’” Jonás says. “That's why it's so important.”Escrito en Agua has two dedicatees. The first is the morning star Tunuwame, the patron of singers and musicians according to western Mexican indigenous myth. “Estrella tan distante, si te dejo de cantar me desperdiciare,” Jonás sings on the album’s closing track, named for the celestial orb (“Star so distant, if I stop singing to you, I’ll waste myself”). The second is Mahmoud Darwish, widely regarded as Palestine’s national poet, whose “documentary poems” Jonás looked to for inspiration for various songs on the recording a way he’d never done with another writer’s work. “He's just writing the day-to-day of living in a sieged state, just writing about the small visions he sees,” he reflects, remembering what first appealed to him so much about Darwish. It’s these smaller visions that make Escrito en Agua the masterpiece it is. Unassuming in its brilliance, it flows one note at a time into a great unknown of endless possibility.

Formed in 1995, Save Ferris remains one of the seminal and most beloved bands from the third wave of ska. The group’s Orange County home was fertile ground for a thriving music scene, with punk, rock, and ska emerging from the region. Save Ferris blended the best elements of these sounds to help bring the region’s sound to the world. The group’s humble beginnings saw them play house parties and local venues, powered by Monique Powell’s high-octane vocals. Save Ferris’ live show instantly became a hit. As the word spread, the band got a much-needed boost. Legendary KROQ DJ Rodney Bingenheimer got a hold of the band’s self-released album. He played their cover of Dexys Midnight Runners “Come on Eileen” on his Rodney on the ROQ show and the response was overwhelming. Soon thereafter, Kevin Weatherly picked up the song and it was added to the legendary taste-making rock station’s rotation. All of this happened independently without a record label and with Powell serving as the singer and band manager. Major labels started noticing the buzz that was emanating from Orange County. In 1996, the band won a Grammy showcase award for best unsigned band, and with Epic Records’ David Massey as one of the judges, Save Ferris would sign with the label. Epic re-released the Introducing Save Ferris EP and, in 1997, Save Ferris unleashed their debut album, It Means Everything. Save Ferris toured the world for the better part of the next six years, with 1999’s Modified released during that time. In 2003, the band went on a hiatus. Starting in 2004, Powell switched gears and used her vocal talents to become a go-to studio musician. She appeared on albums for The Used, Goldfinger, Foxy Shazam, Lost Prophets, Mest, and Hilary Duff, among many others. Slowly, however, Powell started having health issues. In 2015, after years of painful back issues, she underwent a risky procedure to fix her broken neck that could have damaged her greatest musical weapon: her vocal cords. Ahead of the procedure, Powell made a promise to her father, who had been begging her to return to the stage: if the surgery was successful, she’d bring back Save Ferris. And it was a success. That year, Powell, with a new cast of characters, reformed Save Ferris. The hype surrounding the band was massive. After months of rehabilitation, Powell brought Save Ferris home to Orange County where it played a sold-out show at the Pacific Amphitheater in Costa Mesa. Another giant show at the Santa Monica Pier, with over 20,000 people in attendance, was put out on vinyl. These raucous shows proved that the band wasn’t just back, but ready to roar. Through a crowdfunded campaign in 2016, Powell and her bandmates went into the studio to record a new EP. Titled Checkered Past, the collection was released the following year, and produced by John Avila of Oingo Boingo. The EP featured an appearance by Neville Staple of The Specials, one of Powell’s favorite artists. Following Checkered Past’s release, Save Ferris played the entire 2017 Warped Tour on the main stage, headlined shows, and played festivals across the world. The future is as bright as it has been for Save Ferris in a long time. Powell scrapped a record she wrote prior to the pandemic and is currently at work on the first new Save Ferris album in nearly two decades. The band recently packed the House of Blues in Anaheim, playing in front of fans of all ages. Powell is the centerpiece of the action. Her dazzling on- stage presence continues to wow audiences and the band’s energy is infectious. Save Ferris are out to prove that they’re no nostalgia act, with their best days still ahead of them.

gor Yuzov was born in Germany, raised in Ukraine and studied in Russia. He grew up in the former Soviet Union, where folk music was the norm and rock’n’roll was illegal. A rebellious streak, led him to seek out the forbidden music. As soon as it became possible, Igor left Russia for America with his “Folk’n’Roll” band Limpopo, and was personally greeted by Ronald Reagan. In 1993, Limpopo won Ed McMahon’s Star Search and their popularity began to blossom. In 1995, Igor dreamed that Elvis Presley came to him and told him to start playing rock’n’roll. Igor and his Russian friends became Red Elvises and gave street performances on Santa Monica’s 3rd Street Promenade. As their crowds grew larger, the City of Santa Monica ordered them to discontinue their street performances. Evolving over the years, Igor’s music has been labeled “Siberian Surf Rock” which contains humorous lyrics and grooves that forces his audience to dance. Over the past 20 years, Red Elvises have constantly toured all over the world with occasional breaks to record new music and to participate in film and television projects.As an independent band, Red Elvises have produced 12 studio albums, two live albums, a live concert DVD, and a Greatest Hits compilation. Some of their most notable film contributions include music and or performances in “Six String Samurai”, “Mail Order Bride”, “Armageddon”, “Skippy”,&nbsp;&nbsp;“Melrose Place”, “Fastlane”, “Penn and Teller’s Sin City Extravaganza”, “VH-1 Behind the Music”, and “MTV”. Red Elvises have performed for large festivals, private parties, and played on massive stages such as 2005’s Live 8 Benefit Concert. No matter where they perform, Igor &amp; Red Elvises always bring the party with them.

For a handful of summers about 30 years ago, tourists who wandered into a large dancehall inStanley, Idaho, witnessed a family tradition finding new life. Wrekonize made a name for himself as a battle rapper before joining ¡MAYDAY! with fellow Strange Music artist Bernz in 2009. While the MTV battle rap champion can bust with the best of them, it’s often his knack for hooks and harmonies that give ¡MAYDAY! the eclectic, energetic sound they’re known for. With I Hope We Can Still Be Friends, his debut for Saddle Creek, Dean Johnson makes a pact with the listener: He will sing you his truth in the most heartfelt and charming way possible, if you promise to keep an open mind.The title partly stems from the playful way the Seattle-based singer, songwriter and guitarist communes with his audiences at concerts. “I hope you’re not afraid to talk to me after the show,” he’ll say, sweetly, before launching into “Death of the Party,” the album’s seventh song. Centered on the “energy vampire” archetype — the exasperating windbag we’ve all encountered at some point — its lyrics are at once intellectually biting and unmistakably hilarious. His tender voice rings out like the ghost of Roy Orbison or a misfit Everly brother. “Words don’t come easily to me / I notice you don’t have that problem / It sounds to me you cannot stop them,” Johnson sings over acoustic guitar strumming, and gentle bass and drums, like the narrator in a dark comedy whose coming-of-age misadventures have made for an excellent film.Johnson spent years tending bar at Al’s Tavern in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood. There, he encountered folks of all stripes; and regulars enthusiastically murmured about his budding musical greatness — There’s the best songwriter in town! Johnson was a kind of local lore, a long-held family secret, before the singer finally broke out in 2023 with his debut album, Nothing For Me Please, at age 50.“‘Death of the Party’ is a great example of that,” he says of the sociological experience of bartending. “Being in that environment, lyrics did solidify. If I was working on a song, it wasn’t unusual for some new aspect of it, or a line that was too vague, to suddenly come into focus.” I Hope We Can Still Be Friends is essentially an anthology that bridges Johnson’s earliest days as a songwriter with his present-day outlook and abilities. There are songs that have been in his setlists for years, and others that will be new to fans. Each of its 11 tracks contains jocular social commentary or lovingly rendered affairs of the heart. The album’s songs about love and relationships offer another way to interpret its title: as a parting thought to an ex. Like all of Johnson’s cable-knit writing, the title is a clever banner for the album’s dual nature, the thing that binds its tragedy and comedy masks. Johnson explains that he didn’t set out to make a concept album. It’s a coincidence that about half of the album’s songs are a bit sardonic, and the other half are more lighthearted. The singer playfully refers to the former as his “mean” songs, which is why the album’s back cover is adorned with a warning that says “Beware of Dean.”

Amelia Day is a musical jack-of-all-trades. Standing at the intersection of folk, rock, and pop, Day blends heartfelt storytelling, raw delivery, and unforgettable melodies into music that feels both fresh and familiar — like rediscovering an old favorite. A self-described writer before anything else, her perceptive lyricism extends far beyond her 23 years, with lines reminiscent of songwriting greats like Joni Mitchell and Paul Simon. As the Spokesman-Review notes, Day has a signature style that features “wordplay, double-meanings and rhythmic variations,” with themes ranging from journeying into adulthood to climate change. Many of Day’s songs are also shaped by her intimate relationships, where her queerness and candor take center stage. Day’s upcoming EP EGO TRIP is her most personal project yet. Lead single “Lady Los Angeles” traces the sting of betrayal after discovering infidelity, while the rest of the EP takes listeners on an intimate journey through her grieving process. “The character of ‘Lady Los Angeles’ is representative of my ex’s obsession with attention and fame at all costs and my own fear of being seduced by those same temptations,” Day explains. “It felt like she was having an affair, not only with another person, but with the often-self-aggrandizing culture of Los Angeles itself.” Born and raised in the small town of Sumner, Washington — the self-proclaimed “Rhubarb Pie Capital of the World” — Day has been drawn to music-making since she could walk. “I had no idea what I was doing, but I had a toy ukulele and drum, and my parents had an upright piano that I would mess around on,” she recalls. “I could spend hours just playing around on the keys, making up little songs, which my piano teacher recognized and encouraged.” By middle school, Day was already writing her own songs “about myself and my (very angsty) preteen feelings.” Once Day got to college, she began performing her originals publicly, though not without roadblocks. “I had horrible stage fright up until mid-college,” she admits. Starting with farmers markets and local restaurants, Day gradually built up the confidence and the following that would lead to sold-out shows in Seattle, Boston, and D.C., as well as festival appearances at Bumbershoot (“one of my favorite sets I’ve ever played…there was a line of people outside waiting to get in!”), Capitol Hill Block Party, Folklife Festival, and Seattle PrideFest — all on her own. “I’m proud of getting to this point as an artist completely solo,” Day says. Day is proficient on guitar, keys, bass, and drums, often switching between instruments during her live performances. At other times, she lets the music take over — stepping away from the instruments to simply sing and dance with mic in hand. She says she aims to “create an environment of complete presence and joy, but also healthy catharsis of all the worst emotions.” As the Vanderbilt Hustler highlights, her set is “energetic, emotional and full of fun, just like all of her music." Fans often leave Day’s shows on a high, blown away by her powerhouse vocals (drawing comparisons to Brandi Carlile, Norah Jones, Alanis Morissette, and others), and charmed by the joy she exudes while onstage. Named as one of the greatest DJs of all time by USA Today, Mix Master Mike got his initial itch for vinyl while growing up in San Francisco listening to his uncle’s extensive record collection. Years later, the moment that had the most impact on him was catching Grandmixer DST on stage with Herbie Hancock.With his new found love for hip-hop and his foray into the art of scratching, Mike got involved in the mobile DJ business. Entering Dj competitions, rocking house parties, weddings and all those other “cutting the chops” type of gigs for experience and exposure.It was at one of those parties that he met Richard Quitevis, better known as Q-Bert. Q-Bert wasn’t a DJ at the time, but was so impressed with Mike’s scratching technique that it had the same effect on him as watching Grandmixer DST had for Mike. The following day, Richard went over to Mike’s to watch him practice and it was there that the two quickly became friends.In 1992, Mike was the first West Coast DJ to become World Champion by winning the New Music Seminar DJ Battle for World Supremacy in New York City. That same year, Mike, DJ Apollo and Q-Bert, known as the first ever scratch band, won the DMC World title.In 1993, Mike and Q-Bert decided to take the competition to the next level by teaming up as a scratch duo known as “The Dream Team” and won the title once again.In 1994, after winning three consecutive world titles and consistently coming out on top, Mike and Q-Bert were asked to step down from further competition as their domination was too much for the rest of the pack. The two performed an amazing “farewell” set and were honored to become DMC judges.Shortly thereafter, friends and fellow turn tablists Triple Threat – Apollo (Apollo Novicio), D-Styles (Dave Cuasito)and Shortkut (Jonathan Cruz) – joined Mike and Q-Bert to form the Invisible Skratch Piklz (ISP), the most influential and recognizable turntablist crew in hip hop history. It was a chance meeting at the Rock Steady Anniversary Jam in NYC in 1994 with Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys that would propel Mike to the next level. The two exchanged numbers and Mike often left crazy scratch messages on Adam’s answering service. Fellow Beasties Mario C and Mike D caught on to his scratch message craze and in 1997 requested Mike’s studio work for their multi-platinum album Hello Nasty. Soon after completion of Hello Nasty’s recording, the Beastie Boys offered Mike to become their resident DJ.In the summer of 1999, the International Turntablist Federation honored Mike with The Grandwizard Theodore lifetime achievement award for the advancement of the turntable as a musical instrument. The new millennium brought more amazing things from Mike. In March 2000 the Eye of the Cyclops EP (Asphodel) dropped to brilliant reviews winning the California Music Awards as “Best New Electronic Album,” with his first-ever mix CD Spin Cycle (Moonshine) following in 2001. Also check: Return Of The Cyclops (Asphodel), a special anthology of Mike’s works recorded before and after his seminal album, Anti-Theft Device (Asphodel, 1999). In 2004 , mike released “Bangzilla” which is nothing short of the titles reference. Its A Battle through the zektarian constellations as mike hits you with action packed kick drums to the chest and a relentless assault of hardcore scratch compositions bound to challenge your musical intellect.Never one to take a break, Mike’s credits also include his weekly “SPIN PSYCLE” radio show on KROQ-FM Los Angeles, as well as working with EA Sports on the “SSX 1” “SSX 2” “knockout kings” and “Jet Grind Radio” for Sony Dreamcast . He also produced music for the motion picture soundtrack for Jail, Hospitals &amp; Hip Hop, hosted the ESPN Action Sports Awards, The MTV Movie Awards and is also prominently featured in the indie film “SCRATCH”.Mike’s latest work , “NAPALM ROCKETS” is a collision of dubstep and hip hop which is sure to Rattle the foundations of music. Santa Poco:If you’re in a saloon right now, chances are you could be hearing the music of Santa Poco. The stuff is in the air, in the water, part of the condensation on your bottle of beer, it’s that elemental. It’s like common sense. Slide guitars and the clack of boots on the floor slats. It’s the jangly acoustic with the pitter-patter snare. The bend of the electric solo, the voice coming in again above it all. It’s the music of Cowboy Songs, the latest offering from the Pacific-Northwest group. Basking in the band’s music, it’s clear: they have a sumptuous energy, the kind that gets you to dance on your heels but lead with your hips. The band is a veritable jukebox, your favorite Roadhouse radio station as you speed that extra hour through the bleary night highway. The band’s new 11-track record accompanies like a K-9 friend might, bandana around its furry neck, jaw resting in its front paws, yet ready for action. Santa Poco recorded its latest album in log cabin in snow-capped Leavenworth, Washington, and finished the record in a log cabin in rural Roslyn. It was mixed by Kevin Redlich and mastered by Ed Brooks. But the thing about music that floats in the air like cherished common knowledge is that each track in the collection is savory. It’s all smooth sarsaparilla and shots of top-shelf whiskey—including the band’s anthemic, “Something About The Whiskey” . The LP’s titular opener enlivens in a way that makes you tip your cap and show your pearly whites. Throughout Cowboy Songs, Santa Poco employs an expert sense of subtlety and musicianship, offering touches of keys, organ, harmonica and even violin. All the while keeping a sense of tradition. For example, on “Shoot Out The Lights”, bright guitars mix with raspy vocals and galloping drums. And the LP continues with hearty, reflective songs like “Find Yourself A Woman” and the penultimate, “Never Looked Better”. While the world knows and understands that Nashville is at the center of the country music landscape, it should be clear now, with Cowboy Songs, that the rough and rugged landscape stretches all the way to the Pacific Northwest, where Santo Poco stands out.Massy Ferguson: Hailing from Seattle, Massy Ferguson has spent the better part of two decades exploring both sides of the country-rock divide. You Can't Tell Me I'm Not What I Used To Be, the band's seventh album, expands beyond that mix of amplified twang and raw, guitar-driven bang. If Massy Ferguson's previous records unfolded like soundtracks for loud, lively evenings at the bar, then You Can't Tell Me I'm Not What I Used To Be explores a different sort of sonic real estate. This is the band's cinematic version of rootsy American music, produced by Damien Jurado — an idiosyncratic folksinger celebrated for his craft as much as his unpredictability — and filled with vintage tones, analog production, lush instrumentation, and the sharp songwriting that's always been the bedrock of Massy Ferguson's music. Nearly 20 years into their career, Massy Ferguson haven't just established a sound — they've reached past it, too, turning a new page in a story that continues to be written.

Seattle’s Jaws of Brooklyn emerged during the 2020 pandemic, blending 60's garage rock and soul with modern songwriting. Their debut album, “The Shoals” (produced by Alabama Shakes’ keyboardist and 2024 Grammy award-winning producer Ben Tanner) was recorded in Florence, Alabama, and released in 2022. The album earned them critical acclaim with Billboard calling them “impressive” and American Songwriter stating, “The Jaws of Brooklyn are set to chart a new course.”The Jaws of Brooklyn, now a seven-piece live act, set about winning the hearts and minds of the Pacific Northwest and beyond with their punchy vocal harmonies and high-energy performances including 2023 SXSW and Seattle’s Capitol Hill Block Party. After performing at 2023’s Capitol Hill Block Party the band parted ways with their lead vocalist. In 2024, Jaws of Brooklyn saw a pivotal change with the addition of powerhouse vocalist Gretchen Lemon, revitalizing the lineup of Dana Dysart (keys), Bryan Cohen (guitar), Paul Christofferson (bass), and Zia Uddin (drums). With renewed energy, they returned to Florence, Alabama, to record 15 new songs with Ben Tanner producing. The recordings feature a return of background all-star vocalists, Shanay Johnson (Alabama Shakes, Brittany Howard, Roger Waters) and Karita Law (Alabama Shakes, Brittany Howard) to round out the sound and expand their recording sonic explorations.Full of retro guitars, soul-inspired rhythms, anthemic choruses, and 60’s girl group vocals, the Jaws released their 7 song EP “Crush on You” in April of 2025 to great reviews as KUT-FM even made the first single LiteBringer their song of the day writing - “Litebringer” has our mouth watering for what’s to come from The Jaws of Brooklyn...”With a new fantastic singer in place and new music released, the Jaws of Brooklyn hit stages across the Pacific Northwest, selling out the historic Sunset, Baba Yaga and getting into Fisherman’s Village, Brodie Nation, Ballard Seafood Festival, Bumbershoot and SXSW 2025. In addition to playing across the region, The Jaws of Brooklyn received airplay on 20 stations across the country including being added to rotation on Seattle’s KEXP. The Jaws plan to head to New York on a 5 stop tour this summer, then head east to play Boise and Spokane culminating the year with their first co-headlining show at the historic Tractor in Seattle.In 2026 The Jaws of Brooklyn are planning to release their next EP entitled “Unstoppable” in the Spring and have their sights set on a California tour and a UK tour to support the new release.

As the lead songwriter/producer of the band’s catalog, Kelvin was first inspired by Motown classics when creating the group, which can be heard through the expressive vocal harmonies and fusion arrangements. Over time, the band’s overall sound had evolved with an R&amp;B / Rock edge from their influence from artists such as Queen &amp; The Mars Volta. Altogether, the blend of R&amp;B, Soul, Hard Rock, and Jazz is what gives Race To The Light their signature sound.Race to the Light has shared the stage with well known local acts such as Shaina Shepard, King Young Blood, Kashing in Karma, Fruit Juice, and Marbin from Chicago. This show marks his first foray publicly sharing a series of highly personal stories that were all previously kept hidden, deep in the shame vault. “Minnesota Reggae Colostomy Bag” is a celebration of those stories, transforming the embarrassing into the hilarious.Johnny Pemberton is an actor and stand-up comedian, widely known for playing the character 'Bo' on NBC's "Superstore." He appeared in the films “21 Jump Street,” “22 Jump Street,” “Neighbors 2,” “The Watch,” “Ant Man,” “Action Point,” “This is 40,” and Armando Ianucci’s Oscar nominated film "In The Loop." On the TV side, Johnny portrays 'Thaddeus' in the hit show "Fallout" on Amazon Prime. He also played 'Max' in FX's "You're The Worst," the title character on the FOX series "Son of Zorn,".Johnny regularly tours the country as a stand-up comedian, performing at Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, the Moontower Comedy Festival in Austin, and SXSW. Johnny is also a voice artist featured on the animated shows "Pickle and Peanut," "Bob's Burgers," "Adventure Time," “Middlemost Post,” and most recently Netflix's "The Midnight Gospel," where he was also a contributing writer. Johnny also hosts the podcast “LIVE to TAPE with Johnny Pemberton” (formerly known as “Twisting The Wind”) for which he has recorded over 300 episodes.

Left on Tenth is group of friends who started playing music together on 10th Ave. in Bozeman, MT in 2016. They share a passion for playing live music and creating a fun, enjoyable atmosphere.
