<h1>Neighbor 4 Neighbor Darty at BOL</h1>Saturday January 17th from 12:00pm – 3:00pm.&nbsp;We’ll spend time learning about community resilience in the time of collapse, hear more about the N4N Resilience Library that will live at BOL, have a mini Go-Bag workshop, and end with a community conversation &amp; panel featuring collectives working on mutual aid and alternative care practices outside the system.<ul><li>Masking Protocols – NK95/N95 Required.</li><li>Accessibility Note - BOL is located off the Red Line (Brookland/CAU) that has an elevator &amp; escalator. The elevator can be accessed by the Brookland Metro Station that will require a short trip over a bridge to get to the Artwalk on Monroe. </li></ul><h3></h3>About N4NWe draw heavily from eco-feminism, environmental justice, and decolonial principles. Our collective believes that knowledge should not be contained to the state or the academy, but rather shared and iterated upon freely within community. We believe a resilient community is well-connected, autonomous, delegates skills and responsibilities, and open to learning new things always. Climate change touches everyone and everything - our experiences as queer people, people of color, disabled and chronically ill people, immigrants, neurodiverse people, etc impact the way we feel and respond to climate change. We aim to develop, gather, and share resources that acknowledge those experiences and build self-reliance and neighborhood ties during ecological crisis.
