@mashnunmunir | Mashnun Munir
Bangladeshi-American poet, multidisciplinary artist, and self-published author. Born in the Bronx , his work illustrates the complexity of struggle, faith, the come-up, and the class analysis laced through it all. Author of Headspun, a collection of poetry.

@soniamukherji | Sonia Mukherji
Her poetry captures internal, emotional terrain in conjunction with the vibrant external world. Published and translated internationally in literary journals in the US, UK, India, and Bangladesh.

@krishmawrites | Krishma Tuli Arora 
She a poet, writer, and public speaker from Long Island. She began writing From Ash to Ashes seventeen years ago, after the death of her first child. This loss was the inspiration for her book, and she has dedicated it to his memory. She is also writing a nonfiction book, a collection of essays on womanhood and motherhood as seen through the eyes of a woman of color.

Vy is a South Asian artist who plays with perspectives in a fun and rhythmic fashion. With a background in dance, music, art and fashion he’s able to create visual representations of reality with a hint of character.

A queer Nepali-Bhutanese writer who loves the sea as much as she loves books. Born and raised in NYC, she tries to incorporate the little magics of our world into her writing.

Join us for an evening filled with lights and laughter as we bring together some of New York’s biggest South Asian comedians along with well known South Asian owned businesses and an after party.

**What’s a Comedy Bazaar?**

A unique, immersive experience kicking off with a night market pop-up of your favorite South Asian brands. Explore and shop from businesses and try complimentary snacks and food directly at the bazaar in true Diwali lead up fashion.

The bazaar will be followed by a line-up of 6-8 of your favorite South Asian comedians in a cozy and ‘lit’ setting. Comedian reveal coming soon!

And obviously, what’s a Diwali night without throwing your hair down and dancing with your friends. The night will be capped with your favorite desi beats by your favorite DJs.
